Glenn Dyke, Owner and CEO of Blind Mule Behavioral Services

Glenn has well over 20 years of experience working in the public school setting as an elementary and secondary teacher, behavior specialist, school administrator,  education specialist and behavior consultant.  Glenn and the community at Blind Mule Behavioral Services specialize in providing technical assistance, coaching and professional development to schools and districts throughout the Mountain West (and beyond). Glenn specializes in school-wide discipline (PBIS/MTSS), classroom management and tiered behavioral support for even the most severe problem behaviors.

Glenn Dyke earned his B.S. in Psychology from the University of Utah, has a Special Education Teaching Certification and an Administrative Supervisory license from Utah State University.  He received his Masters of Education at the University of Utah and is a Licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Kathy Prewett

Kathy Prewett, Implementation Specialist / Behavior Technician

Kathy has over 19 years of experience providing direct services to students with disabilities in public school settings.  Prior to joining Blind Mule Behavioral Services, she worked for a large district as a paraprofessional and later as a district level behavior interventionist (rock star).  During that time, Kathy quickly realized that she had found her niche in life working with children who struggle not only academically, but also socially and behaviorally. Kathy has an unwavering passion for finding solutions that encourage children to be successful about their education, feel good about themselves and feel good about their accomplishments.  After all these years and after working with countless numbers of kids, she has yet to meet a child that doesn’t want someone to believe in them and to feel accepted. She considers It a privilege to work with so many amazing kids and amazing educators that are dedicated to finding pathways for children to be successful. Blind Mule Behavioral Services is thrilled to have her as part of the team.

 


April Ricks, Behavior Specialist

April is a recent graduate of Arizona State University, receiving a Masters of Special Education in Applied Behavior Analysis and is currently working towards becoming BCBA certified. She previously graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Special Education from Weber State University in 2013. During the interim, she obtained her mild-moderate teaching license and worked as a Behavior Specialist for a local charter school. She currently holds an active Level-2 Teaching License. April has previously worked as a paraprofessional in a special education preschool, K-3 learning center, and secondary functional skills classroom within the Davis School District. She also holds memberships within professional organizations (CEC, CCBD) which allow her access to current evidence-based interventions and strategies. April is passionate about working with and supporting educators and students in creating and maintaining positive classroom climates, where all students can experience academic and behavioral success.


Neeley Kay, Behavior Specialist

Neeley graduated from Southern Utah University with both a special education and elementary education certification.  She later returned to Southern Utah University to receive her Master’s Degree in Education and has since acquired her ESL certification and Reading Endorsement.  Neeley has taught grades K-12 and she loves being an educator and improving the lives of the students that she works with. Her true passion is in working with school-based teams as well as students who need additional support in successful behavior strategies. Neeley is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and is the Special Education Behavior Specialist for Nebo School District as well as a consultant for Blind Mule Behavioral Services.


Tony Done, PBIS/MTSS Implementation Coach

Tony lives in San Juan County with his wife and two high school boys. His stepdaughter is a senior at the University of Utah. Tony has been an educator for over 35 years.  He has served students as a Special Education Paraeducator, Special Education Teacher, Special Education Director, Assessment Director, and MTSS/PBIS Director. He has taught at the elementary and secondary levels in an elementary school on the Navajo Nation and in a special school for students with severe emotional disturbances. He has served on the Utah Council for Children with Behavior Disorders Executive Committee since 1997.  Tony enjoys all things family, great friendships, live music, skiing, camping, hiking, riding his motorcycles, walking his dogs, and peace.

Rachel Waller, Behavior Specialist

Rachael Waller’s passion for helping, advocating for and teaching people with disabilities of all ages in a variety of settings began 30 years ago. She has experience working in group homes, residential facilities, teaching in public schools, as a special education teacher in mental health, specialized and regular school settings grades preK-12. She has experience teaching with students with emotional/behavior disorders, learning disabilities, autism and intellectual disabilities. In 2010 she became a behavior specialist for a large school district, and has provided consultation, training, coaching and direct behavior services to students with severe challenging behaviors as well as consultation in general classroom management. In addition, she provides ABA services to families in home settings. She is excited to continue her passion at Blind Mule Behavior Services! Rachael Waller earned a BS in Sociology from the University of Utah and MS in Special Education from Utah State University. Her thesis was published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. She holds a teaching certificate in Special Education for mild/moderate disabilities and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, licensed in the State of Utah.

Aspen Florence, Educational / SEL implementation Specialist

Aspen has been an educator in Utah for the past 17 years. She has taught Special Education for 10 years in the K-12 setting. She worked as a behavior specialist for four years and was the Director of Student Advocacy for two years in the Ogden School District. Aspen has worked closely with Panorama Education to create and implement SEL based practices in Ogden to ensure students are holistically educated. She is an expert in SEL implementation and is knowledgeable in the CASEL framework, Panorama Education survey tools and platform, Second Steps social skill implementation, Yale RULER implementation, and Skillstreaming. She is STAR Trauma Certified, is a member of the Panorama National Advisory Board, and is certified in restorative practices. She has a Special Education teaching license, a M.ED in Curriculum Design and Instruction, a M.ED in Educational Leadership, and is currently pursuing her EdD in Education Leadership and Policy.


Sara Jensen, Intern

Sara is currently attending the Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis MA program at Arizona State University and working towards becoming a BCBA. Sara earned her BA in special education and elementary education from Utah State University. She has taught in a K-6 resource classroom as well as a self-contained special education classroom and a general education third-grade classroom. She currently holds an active Level-2 Utah teaching license. Sara is passionate about education and classroom management. She believes that an understanding of behavior analysis can create positive student-teacher relationships and greatly improve student outcomes.
